A Canvas of Dreams

A blank sheet of paper takes flight

Emerging from the back of a Red Gold Dragon’s cigarette box

One by one, they gather, a growing stack in sight

Held together by a clip, a makeshift notebook’s grace.

On the first page, paint the sky’s ethereal hue

On the second, etch a girl’s name, forever true

On the third, let dreams take flight, their colors bright

On the fourth, inscribe justice’s unwavering light.

Beneath the kerosene lamp’s flickering glow

Stories of fate and destiny begin to flow

Yet time, with its relentless sweep, takes hold

And these sheets of paper fade, their tales untold.

A touch of red, a hint of spring’s embrace

A lingering fragrance, a memory’s trace

These sheets, not meant for words, yet found their voice

Whispering secrets, echoing the heart’s choice.

One day, a spark ignites, a flame takes hold

Transforming paper into fire, a story to unfold

The words inscribed, like stars in the night

Shine brightly, casting shadows in their light.

A canvas of dreams, pure white with a touch of blue

Reflecting the vastness, where dreams come true

Arms outstretched, embracing the boundless sky

Where imagination soars, and spirits fly.
