Learning to be Brave

One sunny morning Lucas and his family drove to the mountains to go hiking and it took them about one hour to get there.  Finally, Lucas and his family got to the mountains and they all got out of the car and walked into the forest.  They walked and walked and finally got to the mountain and they started climbing.  At first, Lucas was scared, but then Lucas was not.  As Lucas climbed up the mountain, he no longer felt scared, instead, brave.

When he looked down at the trees and the valley, Lucas realized that if he was brave enough to climb a mountain, then he was also brave enough to go to school and not be scared. 

Then Lucas and his family walked and walked to find their car and then they did find their car so they all got in and drove home.
