The Dragon (flies)

Glistening beads of dew,
adorn purple scented
rows of lush lavender.

Lilac petals twirl,
exuding exuberance,
an alliteration,
sinsyne and buried,
stravaging the vastness.

Brazenly aping
harlequin colored
generations of eras
long past, she embarks
on a series of jornadas,
sweet dulcet music floats
on filigree buzzing wings.

Soaring she leaves
fieldstones and
murky outcrops
of drudgery behind,
coalescing instead
in the necterean radiance
of spring’s warm sunset glow.
