The Godzilla Islands

“Why won’t this dog eat already?!” Georg said angrily. Georg and Georg jr were feeding Georg the dog on a rainy night in another parallel world. Georg the dog loves eating nice fresh pancakes and cooked meat. Later they found out that the reason Georg the dog wasn’t eating was because he hated raw lamb. Suddenly Georg the dog became agitated, Georg being a psychologist knew that the dog might have smelled danger. In reality Georg the dog had heard the sound of the glacier ice cracking below them, “Crack”, Georg the dog became scared.

Georg jr was a Canadian boy who didn’t like doing work because he was always tired, but for some reason he was always ready to go llama back riding. When they moved to the Godzilla Islands in Peru, he at once bought a llama. Once he saw his Peruvian llama he instantly decided to name him Llamajama. Llamajama was a llama with dark almond fur all across his fuzzy body. It was as fluffy as the inside of a pillow.

The Godzilla Islands are a cluster of small islands off the coast of Peru. The glacier they live on is built on the Godzilla Islands. Godzilla can be found close to the glacier.

Suddenly at moonlight Georg jr heard the sound of water rushing through the door. “Georg!”, he cried. Georg came tiredly walking down the stairs, “What is it? It’s the middle of night! He said wearily. All of a sudden he saw what was wrong. “We’ve gotta get outta here!” he yelled, but his voice was drowned out by the sound of the vicious tides.

They started to swim out but the water was too powerful, because it is so dangerous they started using everything they could find in the house to plug the door such as chairs and tables. “For now it will be dry,” he had said.

The three Georgs were trapped in the house. The next day on television they saw a rescue party, soon in the afternoon the rescue party arrived. The rescue party announced to every family in the Godzilla Islands that they must stop the melting of the glacier. The glacier was melting because of global warming. The heat of Godzilla’s atomic breath caused global warming.

The rescue party didn’t know what to do but Georg had an idea. He said that they might be able to put a reflective coating of snow on the glacier. So they started making artificial snow. Soon they realized that this plan would take way too long. The citizens of the Godzilla Islands tried to slow down the melt by placing ice cubes from freezers around the glacier but they knew this would only be a temporary solution. They ran away from the glacier but there is an old rusty fence blocking the exit. Suddenly, Georg the dog smelled out a hatchet that they used to crack the old fence. He had sniffed out the smell of food on the hatchet. Then Llamajama carried the three Georgs to safer ground.

The melting of the last glacier in Peru resulted in submerging half of the Godzilla Islands. Georg and Georg jr did not want to live on another glacier. They moved to Godzilla Bay, a bay created by two of the islands merging. The glacier was lost, but they had found a new life. The new life would be nice, they hoped. Soon they would be happily relaxing in a hotel. They just didn’t know that that would only be the start…
